Rorolee
Mindfulness follows the heart,
flow follows the steps.
Anytime, anywhere,
enter the flow—
Let life feel lighter.
In this era of endless possibilities, we have countless ways to connect with the world, yet often forget to connect with our most important selves. Rorolee believes technology shouldn’t pull us away from the present but should instead become a key to unlocking flow—helping everyone effortlessly capture those focused, beautiful moments in the gaps of daily life.
Origin Story
“Where Tech Meets Zen.”
In 2018, during my sophomore year, I suddenly fell ill: my ears rang incessantly, the world spun around me, and steroid treatments made me gain 20 pounds, forcing me to drop out of school. At my worst, I wrote in my journal: “The buzzing in my ears is like a broken old TV, and the whole world is spinning. The scariest part is feeling like I’ll never recover.” When modern medicine couldn’t help, I retreated to my grandmother’s home in Ya’an, Sichuan, where she tended a high-mountain tea garden.
Every day before dawn, Grandma brewed dark tea for me, its aroma blending with yak milk. Strangely, after three months, my dizziness faded, and my digestion improved. Even more remarkably, I noticed how deeply focused I became while working: the chill of dew on my fingers while picking tea leaves, the rhythm of flames while boiling water—these moments made my worries vanish.
Back in the U.S., I researched and finally understood:
—Dark tea genuinely balances gut microbiota, like “tidying up the body’s house.”
—Those focused moments in nature—stirring tea over a fire, plucking leaves—were what psychology calls “flow,” that magical state of complete absorption where time disappears.
But watching my city friends—sipping artificially flavored bubble tea, lying awake from too much coffee, endlessly scrolling their phones at work—I wondered: Could more people easily access the peace I’d found in the tea mountains?
Thus, Rorolee was born—
• Adjusting a bracelet’s vibration to mimic the bubbling sound of boiling water.
• Using the colors of dawn over tea fields to design brain-awakening alarms.
• Turning the moment the bracelet touches a phone into a “3-minute tea-steeping” serenity switch.
Rorolee isn’t about abandoning phones to meditate in the wilderness—
It’s about making zen as simple as scanning a health code:
Stressed in a meeting? Touch the bracelet, and in 3 seconds, you’re back by the tea fire.
Anxious before bed? Tap the bracelet, and the sound of mountain rain surrounds you.
True mindfulness should feel as natural as drinking tea or breathing.
Rorolee doesn’t overcomplicate tech—
It just packages the tranquility of Grandma’s courtyard—
The crackle of flames, the scent of tea leaves, the hues of morning light—
Into a “flow key” you can use anywhere.
When you touch the bracelet before a meeting,
It’s like sipping mountain tea.
“This was my first spiritual journey. Since then, my heart has grown calmer, more at peace. I no longer need to share my struggles—they can stay tucked within me. When we fully immerse in the now, we touch both past and future. By holding the present properly, we heal the past.”
——Living in the Present Moment
